The duration of the course is 24 hours, twelve lessons, two hours each, starting 21 April 2010, then dates to be determined. Lectures are held at Physics,
via Pietro Giuria 1, in Aula G,  from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

The course programme is as follows.

Historical Introduction
Lorentz Transformations and their physical consequences
Tensors, spinors and the Lorentz group
Energy and Momentum
Maxwell's equations
The Klein-Gordon and Schrodinger equations

 Examinations

The examinations consist of one two hour written and one oral examination, in June and September 2010.   The questions in both will be in english, but students may respond in english or in italian.
